The Hazleton Art League's February art exhibition commemorates Black History Month and Dominican Republic Independence Day (February 27). Entitled Beyond Labels, it will be a celebration of the blending of cultures with African and New World roots. The theme for Black History Month 2024 focuses on “African Americans and the Arts” and is infused with African, Caribbean, and Black American lived experiences. The Beyond Labels exhibition will run from Friday, February 2, through Sunday, February 25.
