Hazleton Art League

Located in the Hayden Family Center of the Arts

The Hazleton Art League (HAL) has been providing arts instruction to the Greater Hazleton community for more than 75 years. This includes adult and youth instruction in drawing, painting, photography, stained glass, fused glass, jewelry making, pottery, ceramics, and pysanky art. During this time, the Hazleton Art League has, and continues, to host and provide exhibition space for artists, musical performances, open studio time, and many other cultural programs, such as the annual Art Youth Expo (AYE) and Peace, Love, Chalk festival. Thanks to the support of donors and sponsors, the Hazleton Art League has been able to change locations to a building that will offer more opportunities for classes, programs, and events. This includes a culinary kitchen, children's classroom, digital arts studio, large studios for drawing and painting, stained glass studio, and pottery studio. Hazleton Art League is also fortunate to now be able to showcase the most phenomenal work from surrounding areas in our new high ceiling art gallery.

Our Mission

The Hazleton Art League fosters and promotes the Arts through education, exhibitions and cultural events for the benefit and enrichment of the Greater Hazleton Area community.
