Art Youth Expo 14:

Gallery Opening and Open Mic: Friday, May 30th, 5-8 PM, 2025

Festival and Awards: Saturday, May 31st, 3-8 PM, 2025

Where: The Hayden Family Center for the Arts. 31 W Broad Street, Hazleton PA, 18201

Join us for this year’s Art Youth Expo, celebrating young artists ages 13-30 at the Hazleton Art League. AYE will feature many events and activities, including an Art Contest with cash prizes, two Open Mic events, live music, food, a tattoo flash event, a night market, and more!

AYE RULES!

  • No entry fee.

  • Maximum 3 entries per person.

  • All mediums welcome.

  • Original artwork ONLY (absolutely no copies or reproductions).

  • Artwork must have been created within the past 3 years and not exhibited at previous Art Youth Expos.

  • All work must have a sale price or be marked NFS.

  • 2D artwork must be framed and ready to hang.

    • ***Screw eyes with hanging wire is preferred.***

  • Works on paper must be protected under glass or Plexiglas and have a back BOARD.

  • Please do NOT put glass over canvas board unless it is securely framed.

  • Works on stretched canvas do not need a frame if there is a hanging wire on the back.

AYE 14 Bake Jam!

An opportunity for culinary artists, ages 13-30 to promote and sell their creations and confections at the Hazleton Art League’s Art Youth Expo 14.

When: 3:00pm - 8:00pm, Saturday, May 31, 2025.

Where: The Hayden Family Center for the Arts, 31 W. Broad Street, Hazleton, PA.

  • Outdoors or Indoors, as weather permits.

WE RECOMMEND:

  1. Bring a friend or family member to accompany you for assistance, and to ensure that someone will be at your table at all times.

  2. Bring small bills and coins for change. The Art League does not provide change.

  3. Bring your own table and chairs. (A limited number of tables and chairs are available through the Art League but must be reserved in advance.)

You can you sell: Unless you are a licensed food vendor, Pennsylvania State Law limits what you may sell to the following:

  • Baked Goods

  • Candies and confections

  • Fruit butters

  • Jams and jellies

  • Nuts and nut butter

State Law also requires that you provide a list of ingredients that buyers can read, for each type of product you sell.

YOUR EARNINGS WILL ALSO HELP THE COMMUNITY:

You determine the item prices and keep 75% of the proceeds of sale. The remaining 25% will be sent to the Hazleton Art League to support future cultural events.
