Rolando Corpus, a native of the Philippines, now living in Pennsylvania, explores the simpleness of everyday life through his art.  Corpus says: “We are often too busy to notice our surroundings, people walking past us, a trolley going by, or a building catching the late afternoon light. My paintings offer a glimpse of these transient moments that are worth remembering and celebrating.”  Corpus’ paintings play on the light and shadows, reflections and color that are a part of our everyday experience.  Rolando Corpus works will be on view April 5-28.
